Mamma Mia! The Movie was one of the box-office hits of 2008. Ten years on, will the Abba jukebox musical magic strike again?

Amanda Seyfried, Dominic Cooper, Julie Walters, Christine Baranski, Colin Firth, Stellan Skarsgård and Pierce Brosnan all return for another Abba singalong in the sun. Lily James plays Meryl Streep’s character in her youth, while Cher makes a late appearance in a scene-stealing cameo. But is the film any good – or even better than the first?
